So I recently purchased a home, with the backyard lined with 20 foot arborvites. The tree block the view of the people behind me, they have a ingrown pool and I have a hi ranch, without the shield of the trees I would be looking into their backyard.

So te trees are leaning in towards my house with about three feet between them and my fence now. I can tell they were leaned over during the storm and never properly straighten in the correct time.

Has anyone had experience anchoring and straightening trees after this long after a storm?
I'm tempted to wet the soil and earch anchor them to see ini can straighten over the next year or so. My fear is permantly damaging them and risk having to remove them.

Any suggestions? Hoping I can fix them instead of leaving as is

You could dig a hole behing and under the back edge of each, and gently tilt them into the new postion. Back breaking but cheap. Or call this guy John Migliori. Victorian Gardens. He is a painfully honest guy. Thats probably his worst fault.

Is it the entire plant that is bent or less? We've been coaxing our arbor vitae back into position, but a few drooped again after the snow/ice this winter...back to square 1 on those few.
