The Checkers in East Meadow by the hospital has always been good when I've gotten it. I haven't gone there in a few years so maybe it's changed? Pretty basic fast food and sometimes they would do specials like cheese steak on Texas toast, I'm pretty sure they always had a banana milkshake too.

Do not ever go to Smashburger. I paid almost $7 for a burger that wasn't anything special and the $2 fries were stick thin and worse than BK/McD's. After spending $10, I had to go make myself a turkey sandwich so I would get full. That's what I get for trying new stuff.

Five Guys all the way for what we've got around here. Although I haven't tried BurgerFi.

Hey thought I would pass an update... I saw a sign for Smoothie King replacing Checkers in Massapequa Park. I looked they used to be in Penn Station NY and Have a location in Carle Place NY. Looks like a healthy Juice concept. Hope it makes it we all can be healthier..
