Cart racing? Jet Ski? Boy, you are going out east for all the wrong reasons!

BTW: I see your rep is at 16 now. Congrats.

Rent a bicycle at the village bike shop. Bike to the lighthouse.

Play Montauk Downs.

Go to Montauk Brewery.

Eat a lobster.

While in Montauk eat some seafood

Have a drink or two

Allow time to sober up before driving home

That's what you should do

A day in Montauk can be lots of fun

Two days even more.

Or maybe a week

Or maybe a month

Lots of fun on the shore

Did you ever stop and think that OBH might have been there??? She would not have posted the suggestion otherwise. How about saying Thank you

You need to learn not too shoot yourself in the foot. Along with another friend (who actually lives in Montauk) we spent time drafting a tour of the SoFo focusing on East Hampton to Montauk for a group ride. Your replies are nothing short of rude and myopic, if not churlish and demanding. What are you? A petulant prepubescent?

That's a good Google start.

My friend owns Puff n Putt which has mini golf and boat rentals on Fort Pond.
Not to hijack the thread, but I love Puff N Putt. I used to rent the sunfish from them. Sadly, I won't be able to make it there this summer, but I would have told them, "hey, I know OhBeeHave" from City Data so that they could tell me that they have no idea what I am talking about and to lay off the Long Island Iced Tea and take a long walk off a short rock.

I noticed the lack of gratitude a while back. Not only a non-contributor, but shows no appreciation. I spent over 20 minutes on a valid and informative response for him once (and likely more) and not even an acknowledgement. These days I just click on his threads to see where people go with it.

Montauk has a population of around 4,000 people. The Long Island forum has a total of 313,000 posts. Therefore, you have about a 1.33% chance (4000/313000) of finding someone with permenant residence in Montauk here. Good luck!

So how'd this thread work out for you?
