Long Island has tons of Amazing Beaches such as Robert Moses, Jones Beach, Long Beach, Point Lookout, Atlantic Beach, East Hampton's Main Beach, Montauk or Flying Point Beach.
What is your favorite beach?
Amy suggestions or picks for best beaches to visit?
Would I recommend it to visitors of the area? No. But I absolutely love it. I love the rocky-ness of the beach, the shallower water for wading, the walking trail, the tide pools that form. Overall great beach!

West Meadow is not a beach, its a rock garden. You need shoes to walk the beach, granted the new nature area is nice, not my cup of tea.
Napeague by truck is my favorite. Very wide, water usually very clean, do some fishing, some relaxing with bait in the water, missing all the crowds of the rest of the hamptons.
I haven't been to the majority of them but Robert Moses is our favorite because of the shallow waters that extend far out. Kids can actually play in it. Not crowded. And we can also bbq there at the pits.
