A relative is interviewing for a job at Laguardia next week. She is looking to rent an apartment convenient to the airport. What areas are safe and reasonably priced for her to consider? Thanks in advance. Jay
I have no idea, but be prepared for several replies from the idiots who moved near an established, major airport and then decided to complain about the aircraft noise.

Forest Hills, Bayside, Douglaston, parts of Flushing.....although not sure how reasonably priced. Is your relative using public transportation or driving?
Everyone has a different definition of what is a reasonable price and convienent, so we need a bit more info
A few basic questions
1. What type of apartment is she looking for? Is it just going to be something for herself or will others be living with her?, which will mean she likely needs something a bit larger.
2. What is the price range she is looking to stay under?
3. What type of commute time is she looking to stay under?
4. Will she be commuting by public transportation or driving?
Maybe she should wait and see if she actually gets the job first before moving. An interview is not a guarantee she will get the job.
Sure, no sense in planning ahead. That's just silliness.
