Setauket Knolls Garden (Stony Brook: apartments, rent, loans)

I am looking for an apartment close to Stony Brook University. I am a student, work part-time and have been paying for housing with loans. Does anyone know what the rent is in Setauket Knolls and if they allow you to pay rent with loans? Please any information would be helpful! I already spoke to them but didnt get too much info unless set an appointment. I don't want to travel 2hrs just to find out it's too expensive or they wont rent to me. Thank you!

They won't tell you the rent without an appointment? Why would they want to waste their time showing apartments that may be out of people's price range? I don't blame you for not wanting to go. To me that screams that the rent is high.
