I haven't been up that way in years and would like suggestions on this park. Should I bring food? Frisbee? Blanket? Any ideas and thoughts appreciated

While you can't drive in the park, you can certainly bring a bicycle!

Check out geocaching, its a great activity and there are a few located within Caumsett. Bring a backpack with water, food, frisbee and walk all the way to the beach while doing some caching!

everything you mentioned plus a camera and bicycles - there's a nice long path and also a beach area to the northeast. We didn't have enough time to wander to the western part with kids - it's a huge park and long trail and they got tired. There's also an area with horses but I'm not sure if you can ride them.
