So how do you know there's a 10mph grace just because someone got a ticket recently?
So he got the ticket for being OVER 10 mph over the speed limit?
How does that prove he wouldn't have also gotten a ticket if he was going 9 or 10 mph over the speed limit?
he daily commutes to manhattan......he was fine 8 mph over. ...I am pretty convinced its 11 over...10 or over is somewhat possible...No one here as to believe it....feel free to drive fast & find out for yourself. FYI, this is on queens blvd where drivers go pretty quick for those who know the large road of "the blvd of death"
I know 2 other people who also have speeding camera tickets in nyc too but different spots.
Again, I am not sure if this applies to Nassau or Suffolk....I went to two of the spots on foot listed by the OP and was unable to locate any camera as of the other day.
I have several vehicles that have wheels/tires which are larger than stock causing the speedometer to read incorrectly. One vehicle was doing 82 when the speedo read 70. Nothing like having a Mass state trooper point that out when he has pulled you over.
If you have swapped out stock size for oversize, get your speedo recalibrated.
right you are , but the sign says I'm ten over the speed limit with all three of the cars that we own !
I'll check it out with the TomTom.
Hopefully I won't get pulled over for watching the device
Never, let me repeat that,NEVER got a ticket in my life
me too...I haven't gotten a ticket since I was a teenager. I don't get the naysayers out there. After all, its online info...don't believe it...... that is fine. The info posted here is reasonably believable.
