We have a pretty big driveway (it can probably fit 8 cars), so a snowblower is a must.
We have a gas powered Sno-Tek, 2 stage and it was fantastic last year (housewarming gift). We did have to replace one of the bolts on one of the blade last year, but we read that it is a safety thing when it falls off. We bought a bunch of them for next to nothing in case it happens again.
I have 2 one is a craftsman kind of small, found it being thrown out, hubby fixed it and put new spark plugs. Works like new. The other one I have is bigger, it's a lawn boy and was my parents. My mom gave it to me last year because she does not use it and dad's no longer around. Besides her neighbor does it for her.
In need of a new snow blower with winter approaching here on LI.
I only want to hear from people who own a snow blower, live North of the LIE, but east of 110 and west of William Floyd Parkway, who own a colonial and have less than 5K in credit card debt. Also when you add up the 9 digits of your social security number it should be an odd number, not even.
OK, I'm kidding about the requirements to reply.
In all seriousness, what do you use? Benefits/differences between gas and electric powered? Is yours heavy to move around? How many inches can it handle? Etc....
Looking to buy soon. Gracias in advance.
I have a Paco. Actually a few of them. They work great.
Was considering a single stage after staring at my garage and not envisioning a place where a 2 stage could sit for 12 mos without always being in the way. Avoid Troy-Bilt (MTD)? Is Toro the way to go for a reasonably priced unit? Recommendations?
Near 135 and the NSP
