All of a sudden, I feel like my house is surrounded by crickets. In the past 2 weeks, the sound is unbearable.
(They are so loud inside, that I thought they took up residence in my den).

Anyone else experience this lately?

It was caused by global warming.
Wait the globe hasn't warmed in 18 years so I guess climate change.
But the climate has always changed so it must be climate disruption.

Maybe the normal crickets and camel/cave crickets will war with each other in my basement and eliminate their respective populations.

Yes, sticky traps have been a savior this year. Along with sealant for a tiny crack or two by the basement entrance.

Loathe crickets, nothing worse except roaches, imho.

Big crickets, little crickets...

And we had a praying mantis on the front porch! Weird things, he kept turning his head as if he was looking at us! The cat was mesmerized by the front door watching it.

None in the house yet thank goodness.
