Has anyone ever seen that? I was driving home last night at about 6:50 PM and saw two bicyclists riding east bound on the Southern State. I was in the left lane so I didn't see exactly where on the road they were but it looked like the right lane or shoulder. This was just east of the Meadowbrook. They had a flashing light on their bicycles. They looked like seasoned riders but that seems incredibly dangerous, and I would think it's illegal.
it is dangerous, for them. Let them risk their lives instead of picking off pedestrians on regular streets.
???
Elaborate please --- picking off pedestrians really ?
There were 79 pedestrians killed or seriously injured (KSI) by bikes in urban areas in 2012,
there were 4,679 pedestrian KSIs involving motor vehicles
^ yells "SHARE THE ROAD!" at drivers while violating every law imaginable
I see drivers running red lights, stop signs, making illegal U turns, speeding and driving 55 in the passing lane all the time. I even encountered drivers that went into wrong side of a center divided road and drove opposite direction of one way streets. I guess we should all start making threads about each violation and let your fellow posters to wish them painful deaths.
