As far as the 2 savages who attacked the bus driver and then un-doubtedly set up the bus being shot at, they should be executed. Their futute as 2 welfare queen ghetto skanks is inevitable.
Yea i know, but she was a working american unlike the 2 skanks who felt they were entitled to a free ride, and neither were the mutts who shot up the bus and neither were the dregs who were on front street throwing rocks at passing cars. See a pattern here? Hemp'ted needs a few dozen bulldozers driven through it.
The n40 travels down Main St, not Peninsula Blvd, but the shooting happened at that intersection. The n35 also travels past this intersection, and it could've easily been an n35 that was shot at. It is a miracle no passengers were injured. Now often I take the n35 from Baldwin Harbor back to Westbury at night when coming back from Bellmore, but am now thinking it may not be such a good idea. I may be better off staying on the train and changing back to the Huntington Line at Jamaica to go back to Westbury.
I know that will mean having to walk down Post Avenue, but that may be a much better choice than taking a chance at being shot in Hempstead!
Kinda puts things in perspective, Westbury has a long way to go before sinking to the level of Hempstead!
Unfortunately the way the bus system is set up, the only routes that run later than 7pm that go north from the south shore go thru Hempstead or Roosevelt. The n25 does run fairly late on weekdays, but, it would take so long you might as well take the LIRR the whole way.
The n73, 80, and 81 stop running after 7pm for the most part, same goes for Bellmore & Merrick, which dont even have any buses going north on weekends. n45 & 51 used to run Saturdays but NICE discontinued that.
And they see why they are losing riders. Poor service, crazy passengers, and being forced to travel thru bad areas are gonna turn off most regular ppl.
Disgusting. Location-wise Hempstead is perfect and could make for a great village for NYC commuters, county government workers, or students from the college, but instead it's infested with all of that welfare human filth. It's truly sad.
To be fair, the two suspects were from Roosevelt and NYC; so in this case, it's not Hempstead's fault. This really could've happened anywhere along the bus route
I don't even want to drive through Hempstead. I feel bad for Garden City-all those taxes and these are their neighbors...
I live in GC (6 blocks North from Hempstead) and I am not bothered at all by Hempstead folks. The police in GC is great, my schools are awesome and taxes are similar to others Nassau county towns.
However, I do feel bad for the average Hempstead resident. I'm sure most of them are just trying to raise a family, and the corruption in HS town is rampant (hello, HS schools). Do you know for Halloween HS kids go trick or treating here? It's sad, isn't it.
