Hi again. Decided to bump this thread with a more pressing question. Does anyone know any natural spots people skate or play pick up in E. Nassau/W. Suffolk? Pond? Lake? Reservoir? Flooded lot?! Anything. I know some are out there. If you don't want to share publically, please DM me. Helllp!! Thank you!
Baldwin has an outdoor roller rink at the park that was open to anyone. Haven't been there in many years though. As for ice, don't know of any. Community parks like Marjorie Post and Syosset are popular (and now Twin Rinks) if you want outdoors.
And, the better question -- at least through the eyes of some college coaches, is whether to take mere-kids at 17 or 18, or go with young men with their feet firmer planted on the ground (or ice).
