THANK YOU FOR CLEARING MY INSANITY UP. Last week I thought I was going insane when I saw a piece of mail walking by my home.

Kids don't know much about respecting property. And then they grow up. We now know it's wrong because it was.

Exactly. So as long as it's not an adult doing these things where is the harm. ALL of these anecdotes come down to the same problem, passive-aggressive individuals that don't have the guts to talk to the offenders and nip any "problem" in the bud before it really bothers you. Do any of you yell at your own kids or are you afraid of them as well?

So what you're getting from all this is the problem is the complainant rather than the inconsiderate neighbors, who should be attentive parents and responsible mature adults? Ok there...

People don't like confronting their neighbors because they have to live next to them for X years and would like to stay on good terms instead of them mumbling "ahole" under their breath every time they see you. I thought this was obvious. Why does this even need to be said?

Kids have not been allowed to be disciplined for a long time now. It became socially and politically incorrect. Now we have the results of that. As far as pissing off your neighbors, sometimes you don't realize what you're up against until it's too late. Some people are nuts and capable of some crazy retaliation behavior from minor things like slashing your tires to physical, bodily harm or worst case, murder.

This is very true and I don't think the sarcasm mode is on for this. It's like road rage. Go after someone who cut you off and you may end up dead. People are violent and have a huge sense of entitlement.

Asking a neighbor to keep their kids off your lawn or better yet asking the kids themselves to keep off may possibly result in physical confrontation? Old people seem to have no problem voicing their concerns.

Personally, I think the world would be a better place if every one of these mouthy, self-entitled d-ckwads got a well-deserved rap in the mouth once in awhile.
