I been doing research on internet availability in the Hamptons (Bridgehampton, East Hampton, Wainscott) and the only things I can find are Earthlink Dial-up, the lower plans of Verizon DSL, or satellite internet (DirecTV or Dish) with very low data caps. Even with TV and Phone, these internet plans aren't worth it because of the speeds. There is Optimum Online, but personally, I don't like Cablevision. I've had problems with them in the past. Any suggestions on getting internet out there? Any reviews of the current ISPs if you live out there? Does anyone know of any plans for FiOS to expand to the rest of Long Island that it's not currently in?
If you don't have fios there then you won't get it. Verizon stated that they will not be rolling out to any new areas.
