I am trying to figure out an average expenses such as water bill, gas/utilities, and landscaping, snow removal etc, of a typical home in Nassau county for a regular residential community (not an acre ranch) such as 5000-6000sqft lot property for a family of 3-4. Thanks in advance.
Impossible question to many variables.
A basic 1300 sq ft ranch
Of course crappy insulation and old ass boiler add $ new boiler better insulation subtract $
Water if your on municipal water co $50-300 a year
Gas $45-75 no heat add $200 for heat
electric $50-125 no ac add 100-225 with ac
Landscaping $20 a week $3-400 fall and spring cleanup
Snow $100 for each storm
Landscaping $20 a week $3-400 fall and spring cleanup
I'd love to find someone who charges that little. I've been paying $30/week for cuts and that's the lowest I could find. No cleanups for less than $500 each, most estimates are between $600 and $700.
Granted we are talking a half acre but still. And when we were on 1/3 acre back in the 1990s they were charging at least $30/week for cuts.
Is the $20/week for normal front yard landscaping? Sounds cheap $100/mo, for snow cleanup I was thinking of just getting a blower and clean the pathway, I thought maybe $20-$30 per cleanup could be reasonable but I guess it's hot commodity these days. $100 per storm is very expensive, does that include the driveway etc all that stuff?
100 is cheap for snow work. Probably more like 125-150. We were charging that 10 years ago.
If you don't need to get out immediately, wait for the amigos to come around and have them do it.

$20 is cheap but 5-6k is a small lot it shouldn't be more than $30 a week. $100 is per storm not counting the walkway. Just buy a decent snowblower $5-700 should do it. I got a 25yr old 26" craftsman still works.
right, because nobody in America has back or heart problems
Probably why people have back and heart problems. Lack of exercise and poor diet.
Be sitting on the couch or at a desk all day eating Big Macs and Ben n Jerry's while posting selfies on facebook and talking about getting back to the gym for #beachbod2019.
