I just had 2 Chinooks, a Huey, and an Apache attack helicopter fly over my house. Im guessing it's either a training mission or it's Fleet Week in the city?
The New York Army and Air National Guards do not use any of those helicopters ... at least not any units they have assigned to Long Island. The Huey I believe is only used by the Navy and Marines nowadays.
They have been up and down the Hudson a couple times today.
