Hey Guys.

Does anyone know of someone willing to patch up a roof after winter snow damage? I just need a guy who has a long enough ladder to go up on the roof and patch up the places where it's leaking. This is a flat roof. Most roofers can't be bothered with such a small job. I don't need the roof to be replaced nor the gutters cleaned. Just someone to smear that stuff on the roof towards the front of the house. A lot of handymen for hire don't have a long enough ladder. I know this has to be done when we have dry weather, but I need someone who is going to show up when they say they are going to show up. South shore Nassau. Thanks.

Kirby Contracting.... He is located in Merrick. (516) 623-2594

Not sure if he is the man for your job though because he is a roofer not a handyman. You can call and ask him if he is willing to do it. He is a leak specialist.

He is honest. He won't talk you into a bigger job than necessary but he will say no to your solution if he does not think it will hold because he won't want to be liability.

Best of luck

Thanks.

I"d be fine with a handyman, generalist too, as long as he has a ladder. Not expecting a long-term guarantee, but just that it should hold out for a year or so, depending on weather.

I just wanted to update you that we did call Kirby. We liked him a lot. He does have to come back and we're working on scheduling that with him. Thank you again for the recommendation.
