The main disadvantage with Ridge is you're going to have to travel a little to do pretty much anything. There's no gym nearby, the closest grocery store (King Kullen in Middle Island) blows, but Ridge is a centralized location, so you do whatever you need to within 20 minutes drive in any direction. It's quiet, any crime is pretty much contained with one small neighborhood (Strathmore), and no complaints with the school district so far. Really, it's not my first choice of where I'd like to live, but it's not bad for Deep 631.

Ridge is wide, for those of us east of William Floyd the wading river king kullen plaza has a gym, hair salon and other nice shops and a few eateries.
^^I forgot all about that shopping center! It is quite nice, and I used to shop there all the time when I lived on the eastern edge of Rocky Point.
