My family and I purchased a house in Farmingville recently and will be moving in about a week. Some of the bedroom carpets need to be replaced as they are very old. Does anyone know of any reputable carpet places in the vicinity or that would travel to Farmingville? I am trying to stay away from Home Depot, Lowes, or any other big chains.

Any carpet store on LI will travel to Farmingville. If they serviced only their immediate areas, they'd be out of business.

Okay. Well, if they all travel is there one that would be recommended?

I recently got carpet at Mountauk carpet in Farmingdale. There prices where about the same as other places. There selection is massive especially on in stock items so that saves money! Overall if I ever need carpet again i would go make it my only stop.
