URGENT: LIRR Free Parking at Brentwood or Carle Place (Hauppauge: home, live in)

I'll be away for 4 days and would need to park my car at Brentwood LIRR station as its near Hauppauge(where i live) to go to NY Penn station.

Now is parking there for 4 days safe ? It has shaded parking lot as well and its free.

I'm not sure if Carle Place has shaded parking lot or not but its free.

Please advise!

Brentwood or Carle Place? Those areas are nowhere near each other. I think your car will be fine, but you should double check whether you can leave a car in a lot for that long.

Live in Hauppauge, so was planning to park in Brentwood... Since its unrestricted parking...I was thinking I can park overnight for 3 days...but with whom do I double check with? Thanks

Why don't you just take a cab from your home to the nearest train station??

Your car would probably be happier staying at home.

Technically you cannot leave your car more than 24 hours at an LIRR station. You may get away with it depending on the patrols but, it is not advisable.

Can you park at Mineola and pay $6 a day?

Take a cab. Leave your car in the garage/driveway. It will be safer than parking at LIRR lot.
