Then hop onboard the 12:08 Oyster Bay Train, which arrived on time at 12:17.

Then I rush to All Island Taxi Office and since it was $6 to Roosevelt Field/$8 to NICE Bus Headquarter, so he told my taxi driver, Car #50 to head to Roosevelt Field Bus Terminal first.
I usually don't take taxi but I didn't want to very late for press conference.
Male taxi driver was friendly and I told him it's danger to cross here when he was driving on Ring Rd near bus terminal and he told me it's very dangerous to cross here.

When my taxi driver arrived at parking lot on southside of bus terminal, I didn't see Aaron, organizer for Long Island Bus Riders Union.
I ask him politely he could rent me use his phone to call Aaron, which he did and Aaron and groups were already at NICE Bus Headquarter.

When taxi was on Commercial Av, I thought group with news reporter were at n27 Glen Cove bus shelter but I couldn't see it well, so taxi driver pulled up to lobby of NICE Bus headquarter and I gave him $13 for $8 taxi ride and he gave me receipt too.
I grab few n4 schedules and one n27 schedule for bus survey and met with Long Island Bus Riders Union.

12:43 n27 Glen Cove #1755 came ontime at 12:59, arriving Roosevelt Field Mall at 13:06.
Then we took short lunch break at Dining Food Court. Jana stay on to Roslyn Station for her n23 Manorhaven home.
I went to Apple Store to fill in LIBRU survey sheet, then went back to Food Court, use restroom, then bought Vegetarian Rolls from Galangangai Thai Vendor.
Then we got on 13:30 n22 Hicksville #1707 schedule to depart 14:32 came 5 minutes later at 14:37, arriving Linden Av 2 minutes late at 14:48.

Only Frederick and John didn't got ticket because they went home for that day.

We took break at food court, I bought can soda at KFC Vendor and recycle my Honest Tea bottle.

Then, went back to bus stop area around 16:50 and one passenger waiting for 16:43 n81 Hicksville did not show up.

Our 17:00 S33 Happague #1005 was 20 minutes late at 17:20, so we have to skipped #3A bus, arriving Old Willets Path & Oscar Av at 18:32, 20 minutes late.

While waiting for S45, Sylvia was doing her yoga and while I did my exercise near the building.

There was friendly Suffolk County Transit Driver Ray on 18:15 S45 Smithtown #5013 departed at 18:55, arriving Smithtown Post Office at 19:17.

Since we had time, Aaron and Sylvia went into Rite Aid, but I went to Uncle Guipseppe's to buy Vegetable Gyoza and Honest Tea, which was 4 for $5 with my reward card.

Then we took 19:35 S58 Middle Island #1031 departed Middle County Rd/Route 111 2 minutes early at 19:54, arriving Smith Haven Mall on time at 20:05.

After Sylvia's friend, Bill drove us to Aaron's Stony Brook house where I met with friendly kitty Penelope and I call home to tell my mom I arrived safety , then ate my dinner from Uncle Guipseppe's, then after Aaron finished with his business on laptop, he let me use his laptop and went to sleep around 10pm.
I charged my Iphone.

8/20:
I woke up early around 2:30am but my Iphone had wrong time somehow.

We woke up around 7:00 and we got on 6:30 S60 Smith Haven mall #5080 departed Stony Brook Rd/University Heights Drive at 7:55, arrived Smith haven Mall on time at 8:00.

We walk to train station and Aaron bought me ticket from Mineola to Woodside.

Met with Sylvia with her bike, Frederick and John at train station and walk to back to S66 bus stop.

Sylvia couldn't get on 9:30 S66 Riverhead #1032 because two bike racks were already occupied, so Sylvia couldn't get on the bus for that date, so only 4 of us, Aaron, Frederick, John and I were only one while Sylvia bike all the way to East Hampton and S66 departed 5 minutes late at 9:35. At some section, there was another cyclist had to wait for next bus. Arriving Riverhead County Center at 10:55, 5 minutes late.

Aaron asked friendly male driver if he was leaving soon and he said he wasn't leaving until 14:00, so we also got our lunch. Frederick ordered Veggie Burger with fries while I only ordered Veggie Burger with Fries, use restroom, went to ferry waiting room to get brochure, and ask if Hampton Jitney sales Newsday on bus but he didn't sale Newsday.

Then 13:40 S92 East Hampton #1015 departed 21 minutes late at 14:00. At Riverhead County Center, Frederick got off the bus and he went his way home. We got stuck on Snag Harbor traffic and he was nice driver because he ask if anyone needs 10C and some said yes, so he radio when he got to South Fork for 16:35 #10C Montauk bus, but we unfortalley have to give up 10C and S94 bus ride to Montauk Lighthouse. We arriving at East Hampton Station at 16:45, 30 minutes late from 16:15 and we ended our trip there.
Sylvia on her bike was already waiting.
Bill picked Sylvia, John and me up and Aaron got picked up by other.

Bill and Slyvia stopped by at gas station in Southhampton and she offer as pizza. Sylvia was vegetarian, but gas station pizza didn't had great vegan pizza slice for me, so only that time I ate sausage slice. I paid for my South Hampton newspaper and Bill and Sylvia took us to Freeport to drop off John at his house, and I got drop off in front of Plum Tomatoes because we got there around 19:30 and I bought specific soda with my favorite name, then use restroom, so I decided to continue my trip on NICE Bus, which 20:00 n23 Manorhaven #1774 departed 7 minutes late at 20:07, arriving Northern Blvd/Pt Washington Blvd at 20:31, arriving 3 minutes late.

Man, this takes me back to when I was still living in the city, and I was looking for jobs on Long Island. I would take the train and bus to all my interviews. Yeah, it was a long trip, but I liked being able to sit and relax the whole time. Now coming from Long Island, I need a car to get anywhere else on Long Island, and honestly I don't like having to rely on the car to get anywhere now.

I read the article about him a year or so ago, great read. FamousNYLover, ignore the blind hate and keep doing what you're doing. Some of us love reading these, myself included.

This was some trip for him. I would have gotten lost because I am not familiar with the buses and trains. Haven't taken a bus in 20 years.
