Of course we care. The point, though, is that what do you want us to do about it? You saw it, you should have made a complaint if you were that offended by it. What did you think posting about it here would do? This is just another in a long, long list of Johnisms.

I didn't know who to complain to. I just wanted to know if anyone else saw a flag in this condition & what to do. Yes it bothered me a great deal, sorry if that's a "Johnism"

Anyway I found what to do without your help.
Why can't you do something about it? It would be a nice gesture for someone who likely supports your computer habit and your travels around Long Island.

It's easier to complain and cause trouble than to actually be nice and helpful though.

I'll take care of it. I have an old confederate flag laying around in mint condition. I'll go over there and hang it up free of charge.

I don't think John has the money to replace it. Nor should he have to. It's disgraceful that the flag is flying in that condition, and even worse that so many pass it without having it replaced. The bldg owner should be ashamed. That pic looks post apocalyptic.

Too funny. I have an old 'Bonnie Blue' in garage here in Naples. Had it hung on wall in my school office for 25 yrs in NY. People thought it was a Dallas Cowboys flag.

I love how advice was given as to what the OP should do, yet he ignores said advice and continues to complain. Then states that he's just looking for who he can complain to. That is the main problem with society today, pass the buck and look for who you can yell at to get a problem fixed.

From the picture, it looks as if the flag was part of private property (ie not State, County, or Local Town owned) so the responsibility to repair/replace would be the building or property owner. Instead of taking pictures and posting them online, go and do something about it if it offends you so much.

So you reported them instead of offering to replace the flag?!

What if they decide not to replace the flag at all after finding out someone complained about it?

Where's the flag at your apartment?

This is ALL he does. Look at his post history, specifically regarding posts about Westbury and Crime. He complains, people offer solutions, and yet he does absolutely zero about it. It's really gotten old.
