I am in Islip and several gas stations are very low, Apple Green on 111 by SS Pkwy was 1.95 a gallon yesterday. Husco on main street, BP on union and 76 on Carleton Ave in East Islip were $1.99. I did notice in Nassau county that prices are not as low as where I am except I did see $1.99 a few weeks ago at a gas station on Sunrise in Freeport. Let's enjoy it now because once the elections hit in November I know the gas prices will sky rocket again. Has anyone seen lower than $1.95???

Anyone who don't look deserves to be charged that $1.00 or more

Shell in Shirley is $1.89, one price, and with the Stop & Shop gas point program, can be even cheaper.

What about the guys who charge $.10 more to use credit? At $2.00 a gallon, we're looking at 5% additional charge on top of your purchase. This was sort of OK when the gas prices went to $4.00 and it was 2.5%... But they haven't lowered the credit card surcharge... Go to places that charge same price, cash/credit.
