I LOVED Sparks, Spit Rocks, Hammerhedz (used to be Februarys). My cousin was the drummer for a cover band Kronin and then a band called Coldsteel. My favorite stomping ground was Industry in Island Park....it used to be the Rock Pile. My dad saw Twisted Sister there before they "made it." It was also called Paradise. It was on the water and they had outside decks and a volleyball net. I met my husband there....ahh who's to say ya can't find love at a bar LOL!!!!
I met my wife at Carringtons in Stony Brook before that one closed.
I used to love stagediving until they eventually put up the barrier with security in front of the stage-----we knew it was coming to an end when that happened.

I actually was friends with alot of the 80's metal groups and my aunt woked with Scott Ian's mother of Anthrax so he would call me with the fake band names when they played there (like Satan's Penis). Was also good friends back then with the guys from Nuclear Assault,M.O.D.
