Thought again of this thread last night! Hubby brought me home a surprise dinner from this place to celebrate something. The place holds a special memory for us & have not been there for a while & actually forgot about it! Not fancy but well priced & very good. They have a restaurant as well as a fish market. New Wave Seafood

Also in case you have not been there yet there is always Bigelows in RVC.

For Italian, Cafe Baci in Westbury and Villa Sorrento in St. James. Don't really have a favorite seafood restaurant but have had great seafood at many places including the two I mentioned.

Love Baci. Legitimately love the 1980s Italian restaurant look inside, too. Fun place!

For some reason Vincent's in Carle Place gets a lot of hate. I don't know why, I've always found the food to be pretty good there, in the style of the Long Island Italian restaurants of the 60's and 70's.

Limani brunch is absolutely tremendous. A bit pricey but fantastic

When it comes to Italian, I'm partial to La Famiglia in Babylon Village.
