I'm intrigued - you honestly believe that a wall will be constructed across our entire southern border and it won't cost us a penny ever. I assume 100% means that not only will Mexico "pay" for the entire planning/construction, but they'll also "pay" to maintain it forever?

That is just amazing to me. I mean, I assume you've looked at a map.

the term "japs" is no more offensive than "jews". only now is it deemed offensive (here, mostly, by folks who aren't even asian).

your logic (or lack thereof) is as flawed as you are.
Although first created to refer to physical things (not people) of Japanese origin during British colonial era, the term was popularized by Americans during the 1940s as a derogatory descriptor of an ethnic group of people (the enemy at the time), just like the term "Hun". Insofar that it applies to people, it has always been deemed offensive.

Japanese people never referred to themselves as "Japs" at any point in history, unlike the Jewry, who have called themselves "Jews" for centuries. Your comparison betrays your lack of knowledge on the subject.

Awesome comedy writing! I nearly wet myself.

Not a chance in hell of a wall. 65%+ of American's DON'T WANT ONE. So there's that. Then there are the numerous written and unwritten agreements between LE/Border/INS/DEA/Homeland Security around policing the border who will never agree. Then there is the cost, the logisitics, the many jurisdictions with the 1000's of nimbys and eminent domain fights. The wall should be built right around the time Trump's Jones Beach restaurant opens.

No chance garbage man. This is what Trump's border wall could cost US
Ahh yes John Oliver. The ultra leftist non-citizen who spends his days bashing the US on HBO (much to the glee of liberals like you). Could you imagine an American doing the same in England? Never happen. You can keep your liberal version of Bill O'Reilly thanks. You going to post a Rachel Maddow clip next?

Don't make it about political parties. Dispute it rationally. I can freely admit all the candidates except maybe kasich are terrible. Hillary is nuts. Cruz is evil. Sanders agenda is horrible for the country. Trump is a buffoon. His followers are mostly bigots and morons.

INS hasn't existed since 2003. The Border Patrol, ICE and CBP are all part of DHS and will follow whatever the policy of current administration says. DEA has nothing to do with border enforcement. As far as the rest of your post, there will absolutely be hurtles no argument there and it may indeed never happen, but I doubt eminent domain (we are talking about the SW border here) will be a big issue, nor will NIMBYism because the vast majority of said wall will be nowhere near anyone's "backyard". But no doubt the logistics, cost etc make this very unlikely to happen. Now a taller and deeply layered border fence is much more realistic possibility.

I never once mentioned a political party in my post.

So many people, thousands of people.
Went last last night - it was worth it...

Hour an a half wait at the Hicksville train station to board a limo bus. Long line - many people. Saw a lot of off-duty police and fire fighters supporting TRUMP. It was an experience because everyone had their view, all supporting one person - TRUMP

Many women around me - both young and old. They were voting for TRUMP because he is the best to improve our economy. Someone mentioned about what TRUMP said about abortions. Many said he is still learning politics and will privet as situations come upon him. He has been setup both by the media and the GOP. One thing he has more than any other candidate is business experience. In a world wide economy, we need a leader that knows how to negotiate. We need a leader to run our country like a business. Everyone I spoke to agreed all the negative attention he has been facing has been driven by big money. We are want to change our future for the better, not go deeper in debt so the government will have more control over our lives.

Get to the hanger - 1000's of people - standing room only. Outside had the protesters separated in their own area. It was totally funny watching a lady for routing for Hilary was yelled down. I got in a discussion about how Clinton helped start the recession and all the foreclosures, how she is supporting by big banking (Citigroup giving $7 million champagne contribution). Inside everyone was chatting "Lyin' TED".

TRUMP said only 100 people showed up to one of Cruz's NY events. When Trump said "Lyin' TED has no idea what New York values are". The crowd went wild....

To all the couch potatoes and arm chair quarterbacks. Watching reports on TV is nothing like the real thing - when you want to see the truth, get out there and experience it. Our media reporting here in America is so corrupt, everything is so one sided. Shortly will be posting in the politics section of our forum, pictures and videos I took at the event inside showing the huge crowd and outside showing the small group of protestors.
..
