I called the Jericho school, they have school bus service for everyone, just a piece of mind in the morning...we haven't thought of plans when he's finished with school, it'll be great if there're after school programs!! too much to consider!!

We like the school alot... If you live in North Hills, which is also Herricks, there is a shuttle bus which runs to the Manhasset Train station from the village hall.
Can you share more information about the shuttle bus? is there somewhere I can look up for its schedule? Thanks a lot!

I work in Midtown East, door-to-door from Roslyn is 1:40, puke. I miss my Forest Hills suibway ride

Also, another option is the Go bus
1:40 is a lot.......I heard from my friend who's also from Roslyn, they drive to CitiField and pay $4 to park there then take 7 train to work. They did this because their kids are in daycare in Flushing, maybe worth a consideration, much less $$ commute also!

That sounds awful. Rush-hour westbound traffic AND the 7 train! vomit.

Rush-hour westbound traffic is an issue (they say it takes them 20-30 mins to get to flushing!) but 7 train should be ok in terms of delays etc? I understand it must be packed.....

It's ok. Sometimes I transfer to it at Hunters Point Ave. or Woodside to get to Grand Central.

I mean, 8:30AM to 6PM is a long day for a child...... If its a problem, babysitter is probably a better bet
