The other towns I mentioned aren't experiencing that. There's a reason why N Bellmore homes are so much cheaper than south. Whereas north Wantagh (in Wantagh sd) homes are way more expensive than south Wantagh, as a whole.

Excuse me??? N. Bellmore a dump? I have lived in S. Bellmore for a better part of my life. From 89-present.Left for a bit but always came back here. While there is that one area of Newbridge & Bellmore Ave that has "special housing" & that Mosque as well as Billy Deans for the most part N. Bellmore is great. North & South Bellmore are quite different. Once you go south of Merrick Rd except for 1 deli it is pretty much residential & quiet compared to most of N. Bellmore. But the community is EXTREMELY active in keeping things under control. especially lately. I even helped get that story on News12 today about a one-way street in N. Bellmore. Drivers were treating it as a 2-way through street as a short cut to Jerusalem Ave.
Even though we live far south of Merrick Rd.I still join in & help my fellow Bellmore-ites every day. We are now trying to solve problem of kids hanging out in Sawmill at night! Park is not suppose to be open then. Kids woke people up at 2am earlier this week. But we do not stand idle by & allow it to continue. Members of the community are VERY proactive. Residents have taken back N. Bellmore recently. There were some problems over the past year or so. But we did not stand for it & stood up for our community. Community members themselves did not just complain like many people do. We took action & did things ourselves. Quite successfully I might add too.
It is far from a dump. And Ghetto word does not even apply here no matter how you explain it. Prices are MORE when you go south of Sunrise due to everyone wanting JFK HS. I know the market here extremely well.

No activity at the mosque? Lol now you're just in denial. A limited hour strip club? Versus, what, a 24 hr one? Lol. Look, N Bellmore is going down the tubes. Only people who are buying there are from Queens, out of state, or Asian. Have fun in ten years.

Your posts speak nothing BUT anti N Bellmore, so you can be all nice and sweet now. But you've been anti N a Bellmore forever, advising people to look south. Cut your crap lol.

That is just one small section. Those apts have been there for well over 30 yrs. Billy Deans also has been there for years. While I hate it...it really has not caused any problems & the owners have actually helped clean up the area as well. People never hear that part. As for that other place....well I will refrain but they ruin many neighborhoods with their presence. And thanks...we will enjoy it & have since 1989. Since you hate it here so much you are welcome to stay away.

It's not a white thing. It's a white trash thing. N Bellmore has nothing but trash moving in from the city, or people who remind me of Levittown folks from the 80's. Trash. Dump. Your RE values don't lie when you compare to Seaford, Wantagh, Massapequa.

Yet ALL your posts advise shoppers to look elsewhere. Seriously, you're a joke with your flip flopping. All you do is put down N Bellmore lmao.

But you made mention of a mosque & Asians. That would imply you dont like people other than people like you (im assuming you're white). I have no problem with people disagreeing but I draw the line when people call out other racial groups in a condescending tone. Arabs and Asians are everywhere. They arent the problem. It's close-minded people like you

Hmm, wrong again. My husband grew up in Baldwin and Bellmore/Merrick areas were among the top towns we wanted to live in (and no we arent black or Asian, if thats what you're wondering). It is funny how you keep claiming its going downhill when the prices claim just the opposite. Listen to loribell, she has it right. You're just a troll.
