Agreed. Anyone who doesn't see this is in denial. What happens in every case is, you have "early settlers" in an all-white area (which is probably not the most comfortable move to do) and the rate of change increases over time as it becomes more and more comfortable/standard for those races to move in.
Thank you. Idk why people are so touchy about this.
Because you're talking to people who perhaps JUST moved to the area, are excited about home ownership, and don't want to believe things are changing.
And I think that the majority who are moving in there are from out of state or the city. So it will look nice to them. But I know what it used to be. It was tree lined streets, kept up homes, nice shopping. Now it's cement city, strip club, dilapidated buildings, houses in need of repair, a lot of foreclosures. The Stop and Shop is decent. There's access to the train. The schools rank well.
I know this is a sensitive topic but I've heard people say the neighborhood, especially merrick and Bellmore closer to sunrise is changing and a lot of white folks are leaving. What has been your observations? Any residents care to comment?
Can I just ask why this area is referred to as the Riviera and is Massap/MP part of it?
The entire world has never been very white number wise. Whites have never been an actual majority.
With inter-racial relationships increasing every year, every race will start decreasing in number if you go far enough into the future.
Around 1800 Europe had over 50 percent of the world's population.
And since the end of the eighteen century the white population had been undergoing slow skin darkening and eye slanting.
E.G. when Christopher Columbus landed in America in 1492 the Indians said look at these fair skinned light haired blue eyes creatures. Then in nearly 400 hundred years later in 1876 at clusters last stance the indians said look at these fair skinned brown eyed dark hair creatures lolol
It's 2018. Different colored people exist. get over it.
Go lecture to the Darker skinned peoples about that topic....Because it seems to be the the Dark skinned people who have a problem with being black or olive skinned... LOL
Nobody calls it the Riviera, and since 2016 (when this thread was started), prices have climbed significantly in theses towns.
