Are there any good restaurants where you can sit outside for dinner on the water? I'm in Bethpage so somewhere relatively close to there... I thought I remembered hearing people talk about some places in Amityville or Amity Harbor but can't seem to find them so maybe i'm remembering incorrectly. Anyway, if anyone knows of any places they could recommend please share.

Thanks!

There a couple of places in Merrick, Salt (not the greatest food but has a very cool place) and Acqua (Family style Italian). Bellmore has couple as well, villa d'aqua another Italian and Charter house which has a cool by the water seating, but mediocre food.

There are many depends on what type of food you are looking for. We go to Clubhouse & Villa D'Aqua very often. Both are right near each other in Bellmore. Clubhouse has a little sandy area for kids to play & great atmosphere.

In Merrick there is Salt. OK but not consistent we found. Also AcQua Restaurant on Merrick.

In Seaford you have Crabby Amy's. In Massapequa there is Smuggles Jack's.

New place in Seaford that is called Cardoon Mediterranean Grill.

Will share links to all for you. https://www.theclubhouseli.com/

Smuggler Jack's in Massapequa is pretty good. Service is sloooowwww when they are busy. Salt in Merick is nice too. We went there shortly after it opened and they were going through some growing pains, but the food was good and the staff was friendly. Both are a little pricey for what you get, but I guess you are paying for a seasonal business and the view, so it's all good.
