My 5-yr old son was upset when he broke his beach shovel last weekend. It's a plastic piece from costco and lasted only 1 yr. I promised to find him a sturdy one but had no luck after searching local and online stores. Anyone has an idea where to get, maybe a metal one for his age?

Try the Ames True Temper kids garden tools. The neighbors use them for the grand babies and it was in our community newsletter as a response to a similar question to yours.

We have something similar to this... 5yo could probably start using it. Can't quite recall where we got ours locally.

Thank you. That was difficult for me to find a topic, but it no longer is with the help from my kid.
