I am seriously considering a move to long beach. I have been looking at studios.
I have spent considerable amount of time there the past few years and am growing tired of Manhattan life. My childhood dream was to live near the beach and its about time to make some life changes.
Are there any "bad" areas/streets to be aware of?
Any tips (good or bad) that would be helpful are much appreciated!
The area north of Park Avenue between Long Beach boulevard and...not exactly sure which block but at least to the train station/town hall/police station is considered less desirable.
Parking is a beeotch unless you have a driveway or designated spot.
You can find studios or maybe a 1 bed for reasonable prices on the beach. Won't be the Taj Mahal but whatever.
