My son has decided even with a 3.5 Solid GPA at Hofstra, college just isnt for him and with student loans to deal with afterwards, he wants to learn some trade and start making money without such a debt.

My question is where do you guys recommend he should go to learn some hands on Plumbing and Pipe fitting skills to get his certificate and begin in the workforce.
He wants to start ASAP.

As of right now he is looking into ApexSchool, down by Longisland City, Queens

And if you guys have any other trades to suggest that are in job growth for the future please do let me know.

HVAC is also always needing people. As a hiring manager, I hire trade school graduates with 5 years or less of experience as helpers/junior mechanics. A couple of my techs went to Apex; it seems to be OK in relation to the others that are out there.
