Anybody else having a problem with people walking their dog and dropping dog waste into your garbage cans? Yesterday, somebody came by and left me two bags — a present!

This has been going on for years, and some of them are nervy enough to walk up my driveway, pass my car and drop dog waste into the cans I keep on the side.

My house is demanding enough as far as fixing, painting and yard work getting it ready for sale. Now I have to deal with two new bags of dog *****. The bags have fallen through the cracks of my garbage can, yellow jackets are circling and it stinks. I have to pick them up and transfer them to new bags for the pickup on Thursday.

If you're doing this, and seeing yourself here, I can't post at this site what I'd like to do with those bags.

If your pails are visible, your neighbors probably dislike you as well. If your pails have holes they probably should be replaced.

Thanks, I should go buy new pails for the neighbors to drop dog waste into. Let's do this with more class.

Leave a pressure cooker with wires sticking out of it on top of the garbage can.

Some people just think it's garbage. I keep my garbage cans out of sight and take them in from the curb asap to avoid this. I think they think we would rather it be in the pail in a bag, than left on the lawn and not picked up. To me, I just say, don't be lazy, it's yours to take home with you.

Happens to all of us in the burbs. Cameras do the trick. Install a dummy cam.

Would love to catch people like this if they walk up my property to do that. Time for a camera, or at least a note by the garbage can that they are on camera.

Just put padlocks on your garbage cans.
Typical in bigger cities where it's a real issue.
