Perhaps 15 to 20 years ago I ate at a Cajun restaurant in Rockville Center.

I remember that it was in perhaps a more industrial part of RVC, not in the main downtown.

Im thinking it was off Merrick Road north of Sunrise.

Does anyone remember the place?

Are you trying to create a buzz because Southern/Cajun restaurant is about to open on the corner of Sunrise and North Village Avenue where Ayhan's used to be. Would be a welcome addition to the RVC downtown culinary scene especially now that Smokin' Rib took a nosedive.

The place on the corner (The Pig and Queen) looks awesome, but not Cajun. At least not based on their menu.

The restaurant you're thinking of is the Bayou Uptown. It was an offshoot of the Bayou in Bellmore.

Mmm loved the Bayou in Bellmore. Was there last in 2004.

No...I think its quite apparent that I was asking about a restaurant I dined at a long time ago.

Not the name I recall, but, clearly I can't come up with it.
