In need of a real slate roofer for repairs on Long Island. Plenty of roofers will claim they repair and install slate but their crews have no idea what they are doing and leave things in worse shape. I have seen poor repairs all over the island. Often times the roofers convince the homeowners to replace perfectly good slate with cheap alternatives. I know enough and have done previous repairs but those days are over.
