Need Suggestions for cheap or free stage rentals (Taylor: hotel, neighborhood)

Hello everyone. I am hosting a pageant and I need a place to rent a stage for free or cheap (anything about $500 or less). It's a small pageant (about 10 contestants) so I don't need a lot of space.

Does anybody know any places in Long Island?

The surrounding neighborhood has to be decent.

No idea what area you are in, but you might try your local school district and local library. Both generally have a location with a stage and often offer better rates for "in-district" people.

For ten contestants (and a $500 budget), you may be able to get away with a library or hotel meeting room and rent a few risers to create a stage. Rooms with a permanent stage may end up being too large for a 10-person event (depending on how many attendees you expect).
