and if it WERE to happen for SEpt, it would have been decided by now.

Again, this was "heard it through the grapevine" chatter, but it sounded pretty convincing. Based on reasons they knew about (not enough space being the main factor I think) it's just not possible to happen for this Sept..
hello....i have LOADS ofquestions regarding this topic. I have snooped around and it seems that we do in fact have the room. It is a projected 9 mil dollar job. What do you know about full day and what can we do to get it?

My friend's children go to Deer Park and they are indeed full day. I also know Commack is for sure.

That's correct - MS is half day, and according to the Superintendent there are no plans to change that.

According to : http://www.emsc.nysed.gov/part100/pa...literacyqa.PDF

Is kindergarten attendance mandatory?
No. Kindergarten attendance is not mandatory. However, when a child does not attend kindergarten,
parents or guardians must be able to show that the child received adequate instruction on a kindergarten level in order for that child to be placed in first grade. (Matter of Cann, 1956, 77 St.
