Thinking about tackling the half bath on my own to save some money, but I would like to have a contractor gut reno 2 full baths (one w/ tub, one w/shower).

I found a place that advertises a special that's $7k for a bathroom. I know there are a lot of variables, but does that sound about right for nassau county? My home is in plainview FYI.

That's cheap. Gotta be a catch.
Most contractors do the raping at 20k and up for a stupid bathroom.
It's worth a phone call to see what it's about.

Investing money into a room that you shower and crap in is stupidity IMHO. Besides if you have a wife and/or daughter(s) they just destroy it anyway with their sprays, lotions, nail polishes, polish removers, globs of hair and hair dyes.

Yeah, it's just a place to drop a deuce. This should suffice for anyone, right?
