Could anyone on the forum that owns a late model Honda CR-V let me know if they have taken it on Smiths Point beach or any other beach? And if so how well did it go. Thank you so much in advance.

Although the AWD systems in the new ones isn't that great, it's fine for the beach. JUST AIR DOWN. Not like 25psi, go to 15. I've seen plenty of Subarus, Mazdas, etc on the beach no problem. Just be prepared to get stuck more easily than a truck, and drive smart on the sand.

be careful with it . these are really 4 wheel assist rather than full awd systems . they are marginal at best .

we had to push my sons crv out of our snowy up hill driveway when one wheel went off the edge of the pavement . my bmw with a true awd system had no trouble when we duplicated the same thing . our jeep didn't even flinch . .

the crv got stuck in the sand on a sandy incline unloading the jet ski. the jeep never got stuck . personally i would not use a crv if beach driving was what i wanted to do .
