need information on a mixed use apartment building (Mineola: renting, broker)

I have located a store front that has an empty apartment on top. I am interested in renting it. I tried calling the store and asking. They would not release information. Tried searching the address and the owners name is not disclosed. I am trying to avoid a broker's fee. Does anyone know how to track down the owner or the management company for a property ? Any feedback would be helpful. Thank you

On a commerical rental, isn't broker fee paid by the LL? It is in Manhattan.

It varies. If it's just a storefront with an apartment over it, the LL will frequently involve a broker to prescreen potential tenants because LL doesn't want to be bothered with it--and then let's the tenant pay the broker.

You can go to the County Seat in Mineola and do the research.
