Greetings all. Having grown up on Long Island, I have recently moved back after a prolonged absence. I am Catholic and would like to know whether any local churches offer Tridentine/Extraordinary form masses, preferably in Nassau or western Suffolk (Towns of Babylon, Huntington, Smithtown, or Islip). I believe the TLM used to be celebrated at a parish in Massapequa; however, I could be mistaken. Thanks in advance and God bless.

LI parishes have been cutting down on tridentine masses. There is one offered on Sundays in st johns cemetery in middle village that attracts worshipers from nassau and Suffolk.

This is interesting. I've never been to a Latin Mass, I've only seen it in movies. There's a traditional, original, closer to God feel about listening to it, I can't explain why.
