It seems that all of MTA have 119,890 employees, which means the average cost per employee is $79,072.

Ladies and gentlemen, this is where your money is going.

Look at their liability....specifically LT Debt obligations. It's really scary

Don't forget the scam of hiring friends and family contractors for special projects. Things like spending close to 200 grand on a simple platform staircase

The question is if it can provide an alternative to the LIRR once the summer of hell is over. Of course it solves something.

Not when there is 1 (ONE) AM ferry to Wall St and 1 (ONE) AM Ferry to 34th street.

Total capacity = 400.

One trip each boat....... this is less than 1/2 a train on LIRR

It's about how useful the ferry would be once the summer of hell is over and LIRR service is restored to precrisis levels.

How many people do the buses hold?

I just look @ their contingency plans more in detail.

What a joke.

91 minutes on the bus from VS? GTFO. That's insane!

Commuters all went on vacation today? Most commuters avoiding the summer of hell? It seems super quiet out there.
