Hi all, does anyone know if the Town of Huntington has rules about blowing leaves and debris in the street or their neighbors yard? My jerk neighbor keeps doing this and even though I have asked him to stop he continues to do it.

In this day and age, ya gotta pick your fights buddy. Regardless of the local rules, is this a path you really want to go down with this guy? Even if the regulations are in your favor, you will spend may frustrating hours dealing with his retaliatory actions, if he is as big a jerk as you say and that could be the good news. He may be a total idiot and do something to cause you or a family member harm. Re think getting your patties in a knot over this one. I understand it is more than annoying but.......

My neighbor's landscaper does this to me. When I'm around and stand on the lawn and give them the evil eye, the landscapers won't do it. But when I'm not home, my yard is full of blown over leaves. Bastards.

If you have a leaf blower, bring it out when they blow it onto your lawn and blow them right back at them.

Just be glad they don't wash their cars with the water from their pool.

This IF it's that big a deal to you. I've had douche bag neighbors where not only 6 different rules in the HOA and the city and county were in my favor, yet the HOA did nothing and I had to take it to court to do anything about it. I let it go despite being clearly in the right and many here telling me I should have pursued it.

Cool Is the law on your side?

The Law is surely on your side. Follow the link below if you want to take a look at it. It's Section 133.1-H which says this:
Sweeping litter into streets and gutters prohibited. It shall be unlawful to sweep into or deposit any waste, litter or debris of any kind into any gutter, sewer, drain, street, sidewalk, walkway, right-of-way, easement, public square, park, lot or other public property or improvement.
