I get a dozen of these calls a day. Various phone numbers.
I block them, then the calls start again from same number but with maybe the last digit being different.
Exactly! In the last few weeks I have received calls from: 631 544-5309, -2975, -5724, -4005, -6018, -2189, and -4376. Also, same calls from 631 201-XXXX. I now block 631-201-XXXX. I am in KP, so I don't want to block 631 544-XXXX. The call blocker and caller ID are great inventions.

Matt
T-Mobile has actually started identifying numbers as "SCAM LIKELY" when many of these call through.
I answer every call and order everything theyre pushing. put them on hold while you look for your credit card. just make up credit card numbers and addresses. i'm slowly being taken off the spam lists. i cost them too much time and money to bother.

Now that sounds like fun!
Awesome. Can't wait for the phone to ring now!
Here's a twist on the scam phone call... A Real Estate agent out east got a phone call from someone masking their caller ID with MY cell number.
He was in a meeting and hit the auto-reply, sending a text saying "call me again later".. The system sent it to my phone, since it was my number that appeared on the caller ID.
Since I hadn't called him and didnt know the number, I thought I would have a little fun and replied to his text. The ensuing back and forth revealed the original issue that my number was being broadcast as the caller ID on some scammers calls.
Hopefully I wont see a new thread started here with my cell number listed... :-(
The amount of spam calls is getting ridiculous. I said it before, and I'll say it again: ANY politician willing to make this a priority has my vote. I don't care of they're socialists/progressives/middle/conservative/tea party.
