That can be said for a lot of the “bad” schools out here. Taxes are high all over.

This is so dated. There's an Indian portion of various religions, a Jewish portion (of different nationalities and levels of observance), and a teeny tiny Italian Catholic portion.

What do you guys think about Malverne ?

Malverne is very cute. Nice homes, mediocre small school district.

Malverne is a nice, small village which is primarily white. It is divided into 2 school districts Malverne and Valley Stream that are composed of primarily non white students. Many in Malverne send their kids to private schools.
Between the village taxes and private school tuition if you go that route it significantly increases your cost living there.

Louie you are all over the place. What budget are you looking at? Herricks is very pricey. Good area becoming mainly Asian. Great schools.
Valley Stream is more mixed, schools not in same league as Herricks. I heard the Gibson section is the best section but I dont live there.
What exactly are you looking for price and demographics wise?
