See, this is what irks me. Some properties you can't even put a pool in. These things you have to have set before you buy. This isn't s T-shirt I can just take back to the store.
You can put a pool any where. I am on a 10k sq foot lot, I could put a 18x36 inground in and still have plenty of green space with a deck and patio w/o getting any variances. There are houses on 6k sq foot lots in my area that have ingrounds, this is in Town of Oyster bay where we pay a tax to breathe and **** more than 3x a week.
Every township is different, generally the poll cant be under a utility pole and will need to be 4ft from the property line. If you choose you can have the pool patio touching the property line as ling as the pool itself is 4ft.

I understand that, but some of those properties may not be available by the time you decide to buy.

I say above that I did do it and it is a whirling mass of water, especially one in which a force of suction operates, as a whirlpool. Why would it be in a pool in the ground and not in above ground pool? And why would it happen in suffolk around that area? I don't understand what this person is saying.
