OMG!
Can't get out of my house! So much snow we're trapped!
And we ran out of eggs and bread!

Thank God you have the milk. But do you have a snow shovel?

Crazy how quickly it's coming down. You shovel a path and it's covered again in less than a minute.

Why not just wait till the snow is done coming down and then shovel? Why do the same job twice or three times?

Normally I do. But:

1) I hate having snow walked on and getting it compacted so it's harder to shovel later. I made a path for my wife to get to her car in the morning.

2) Getting the kids to the bus stop. You don't think they're wearing boots to school do you?

I just stocked up on wine and figured I should be good for about an hour.

My job closed today and my DH decided not to go to his job. It's really coming down in Islip. It went from hardly any snow at 6:30 am to looking like a blizzard as of right now. I am so done with this crap!

There was just a dusting in the city by Penn station and by 4pm it was gone and the streets were dry. A little more by me in Western Nassau and nothing for me to shovel. How much did people out east get?
