Crossing Guards Farmingdale (school, safety, children)

Woodward Parkway School.

There are four of them assigned to Woodward Parkway. Two on each corner, on streets adjacent to the school.

Now if this was Sunrise Highway, Route 109, Main Street I could understand, SAFETY comes first.
However, this is a two lane road, my children went to this school and we had one on each corner.

Perhaps someone more enlightened than I can explain to me why the change
